An original inclusive Queensland story created by RAD Ensemble. Inspired by classic pirate tales and the challenges of climate and environmental change, Pirates of the High Trees is a vibrant new theatrical work celebrating imagination, adventure and diverse voices on stage.

The Tea Lady Factor

A science fiction spectacular inspired by the neo-expressionist film Metropolis. Set in a dystopian robot factory in Geebung, this futuristic fable explores the clash between raw human emotion and the cold logic of machines — and one magical cup of tea that might change everything.

Brisbane's own musical ghost story. When developers threaten the beloved Quavers music shop, the siblings Tammy, Mavis, Stirling and Bob call upon their musical ghost friends — from Hildegard the classical ghost to a country and western spook — to scare them away. A hauntingly good time featuring original music spanning jazz, classical, country, and rock.

Quirky — RAD Ensemble's inaugural production at QPAC 2022 No. 1

RAD's debut production and the one that started it all. Born from the ensemble's lived experience during the COVID pandemic, Quirky explored community, connection, vulnerability and the importance of interaction — woven together by Nicole Murphy's original score into a joyful, uplifting whole. RAD's inaugural flagship production that proved inclusive theatre could be world-class.
